Ericaceous compost is a lime-free, acidic compost formulated specifically for acid-loving (ericaceous) plants — azaleas, camellias, rhododendrons, blueberries, heathers, and similar shrubs that struggle in standard multi-purpose compost or alkaline soil.

Use it to pot up acid-loving plants in containers, or to improve soil pH in beds and borders where these plants are struggling. It’s also the right choice if you’re growing blueberries, since they need consistently acidic conditions to fruit well.

Supplied in a 40 litre bag — enough for several medium pots or a decent-sized planting area.
